Tea Tree Oil is most commonly gathered from the subtropical coastal areas of northeastern New South Wales and southeastern Queensland, Australia.  With over 300 varieties of Tea Trees, the most commonly used version is the Melaleuca Alternifolia Tea Tree. This is mainly due in part to the Tea Tree Oil being best used for Aromatherapy. When used in this type of therapy, Tea Tree Oil can help relieve symptoms of stress, mental fatigue, exhaustion, anxiety, and depression. This oil can also aid in respiratory ailments like asthma, bronchitis, congestion, coughs, laryngitis, sore throats, tonsillitis, and whooping cough.  Tea Tree Oil can also boost your immunity and help reduce the incidence of catching colds, fevers, and the flu.

Australians refer to Tea Tree Oil as a “first-aid kit in a bottle” due to its wide spectrum of medicinal uses. These uses include the treatment of abscesses, bug bites, acne, burns, blisters, dandruff, and even cuts and scrapes. In dentistry, Tea Tree Oil can relieve gingivitis, toothaches, periodontal disease and mouth ulcers. In fact, during the 1920s dentists and surgeons commonly used Tea Tree oil to disinfect and treat common ailments in their patients. Also, during World War II, Australian soldiers included Tea Tree Oil in their first-aid kits and medics used the oil to disinfect and speed the healing process in wounds on the battlefield.
Our Tea Tree And Peppermint Soap

As if the numerous practical medical uses were not enough, Tea Tree Oil can be used in your beauty routine as well. Skin problems like acne, rashes, warts, ingrown hairs, and skin irritation from shaving can all be treated with this essential oil.

Tea Tree Oil is truly a “first-aid kit in a bottle,” helping both physically and mentally. This amazing product has been used and tested throughout time, proving to be an incredible natural asset to have in your first-aid kit and in your beauty regimen.
