Aromatherapy

You will hear us talk a lot about using our C.E.H private natural body essential oils for varying uses in Aromatherapy, but what is aromatherapy? Aromatherapy has been defined as the practice of using naturally extracted essences of aromatic plants to promote health and well-being of the body, mind, and emotions.  These “essences” are pure essential oils that capture the fragrance and the natural benefits of the plants they were derived from.  This can also be described as the “heart and soul” of the plant bottled up, full of its unique and natural benefits. Essential oils can be used as topical treatments on the skin, in water, and also through inhalation.

Aromatherapy may seem like a growing trend to some, but this practice has been in use since the Egyptians. In the Egyptian temples, incense burned day and night with varying natural fragrances from essential oils. Perhaps our modern day version of this concept would be the use of diffusers. Diffusers are machines that combine water and essential oils that are vaporized into a fine mist through the air. Depending on the natural healing properties of the particular essential oil chosen in your diffuser, aromatherapy can boost your mood, promote relaxation, help heal your body of illness, and in the most basic sense, diffusers can keep your home smelling amazing!

True essential oils contain zero synthetic aromatic substances. Don’t be fooled by companies who claim to use aromas derived from synthetic scents and label their product as aromatherapy.  These types of products are man-made fragrances that do not carry the true healing powers of a lab grade (pure) essential oil. All of C.E.H private natural body essential oils are lab grade and we pride ourselves in knowing our products are in the purest form; the way nature intended it.

How can you tell the difference between pure essential oils and synthetic ones? Look at the ingredients. This clearly may not seem like a wild and out-of-the-box concept by saying that, but it is something that is so important when trying to find true natural products. If you see words like petroleum waxes, preservatives, stabilizers, and surfactants, the product is not a true essential oil. These types of chemicals ruin the integrity of the essential oil and are petrochemical derivatives that deny the effects that could be received from a natural essential oil used in aromatherapy. C.E.H private natural body lab grade essential oils are pure essential oils, without any additional ingredients added. We want the “heart and soul” of each essential oil to be intact so you get the most out of your aromatherapy experiences.

Our aromatherapy products come in many forms such as our beauty products to our SPRAY THIS essential oils. Have a little fun finding out which products work best for you and your daily needs!
